For this assignment, I had to take pictures that would show different apertures and different shutter speeds. The idea wasn't to take amazing photos with aperture and shutter speed. I just had to take photos that would show I know what aperture and shutter speed is and how to use them. Shutter speed is all about time. With these photos, it is best to take pictures of something moving. Every time you take a photo you would change the f-stop. Every f-stop you go up, the photo gets fuzzier and darker. For aperture, it deals with how much light you are letting in your camera. The photo is best when focusing on something. The higher you go, the less fuzzy everything in the photo is.
When I first started this assignment, I thought it would be pretty easy. I was kinda wrong. Shutter speed was easier because all you needed to change from each photo was the fuzziness of the moving object and the darkness. That was just easy. But aperture I was having trouble with. When I took a couple of photos, I would check to see if everything was working out and nothing seemed to be changing. But then when I would look at my photo on the computer, I could see that things were changing. Even if it was a tiny little thing. I really did like this assignment though, so I would do it again. I would just have to remember that things will look differently on the computer then they do on the camera itself.
